Make a Christmas Hamper or donate Christmas treats for a local individual or family in need
There are various roles at Christmas Hamper HQ. Most volunteers do a mixture of roles. Please let us know if there are one or more roles that you would prefer to do and if there are any that you would like to avoid (eg if lifting heavy items is difficult).
Assembly: Assemble and wrap boxes
Fill: Fill and label hampers
Load: takes donations and hampers to and from the service area (involves lifting)
Deliver: accompanies the van driver for deliveries to distribution hubs and collections from the Foodbank (involves lifting)
The shifts are from 9.30am to 1.30pm and 1.30pm to 5.30pm on Monday to Saturday. Please join us for the full shift, because it helps us to plan activities in line with the number of volunteers who will be working.
